The Chinese Gap

Project Inquiry
Where Curiosity Becomes Creativity
Children are naturally curious. The question is whether a school gives them the freedom to explore that curiosity or simply tells them the answers.
We turn that curiosity into confident, creative thinking through our signature Project Inquiry approach.
Over six months, children explore real-world topics inspired by their own questions and interests.
Instead of memorising facts, they investigate, experiment, create and present their discoveries through hands-on experiences, guided research and meaningful discussions.
By giving children ownership of their learning, Project Inquiry nurtures creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving and communication, helping them become confident learners who don't just know the answers, but know how to ask better questions.
Because the goal isn't simply to teach children information.
It's to nurture children who are curious enough to ask better questions, creative enough to imagine new possibilities, and confident enough to explore them.

The children vote
Teachers run the brainstorm. Marine animals, submarines, coral reefs, rubbish in the ocean. Then the class votes on what to chase. Not the teachers.

Six months deep
Children dive deep into their chosen topic through research, experiments, field trips and expert visits. Guided by teachers, they investigate real-world questions while developing creativity, critical thinking and collaboration.

Out into the world
Marine animals took one class to the S.E.A. Aquarium. Submarines took another to the Navy Museum.
Ocean pollution took a K2 class to a beach clean-up.

Project Closure
Children consolidate their learning by presenting their discoveries to parents and peers. Through planning, rehearsing and sharing their ideas, they build confidence, communication skills and pride in their achievements.
